Re: Coupe GT brake bleeding

Hi Brian;

    When you bleed brakes, you typically bleed the wheel farthest from the
master cylinder first, the next farthest second, and so on.
    All wheel cylinders should have a functional bleeder screw. The ports in
these screws often get plugged with rust, particularly if they are not used
often and they are not covered with little rubber caps to keep dirt and
water out of the screw. If you look closely at your "non-functional" bleeder
screw, you should see evidence of a small port in the side of the screw at
the bottom which connects to the passage down the centre of the screw. I
have cleaned these out with a suitable sized drill bit turned by hand -
never on an Audi, though, since they have had the rubber caps and do get
bled regularly (at least mine do!).
