My X1/9 had a thick aluminum pan. Strong devil. Used to jack up the motor on
it. Try that with a steel pan.

(Stop laughing. It was my first car. What did I know?)

Yes, it's another automotive disease. Stow the top in the front trunk, roll
down the windows on a warm sunny day (windows up on cold days, but the roof
still comes off), and goose the throttle to 6500 through a corner or two.

Big stupid grin cannot be removed. (Think "Magnum, P.I.")
