Leaves in the AC/heater blower.
Hi Dan,
It sounds like you are missung a debris screen in the plenum. Leaves and
stuff should not get to the blower. I haven't seen a car without one.
One caveat. Be careful of operating the blower with debris in it. There is a
blower resistor in the duct after the blower. Usually it will have a thermal
fuse on it. If the blower is jammed on a low speed, the motor acts as a
short and current will flow through the resistor with no cooling air. This
will destroy the resistor or in the worst case set the debris on fire.
