Re: Bringing black Audi to Las Vegas..........and finding a mechanic....FROM A LOCAL LAS VEGAN!!!
I have a BLACK 90' CQ with Titanium Grey Leather and it honestly doesn't get
that bad. I do recommend you park in the shade wherever possible though. I
tinted the windows the darkest legal tint shade possible "20% tint grade"-
only 20% of the light gets through. It looks great and sure helps keep the
interior in better shape. I also treat my leather every few months to keep
it in the best condition. The mechanic I use is the most experienced and
most honest mechanic I've tried in town and I've tried at least 6 different
shops. The shop's name is WOLF/DMS PERFORMANCE 4300 N.Pecos, Suite#10,Las
Vegas, NV,89115 702-651-9360. His name is Wolfgang Blum and is direct from
Germany, has many years VW/AUDI/PORSCHE Dealership experience before opening
his own shop. His shop is also very convenient to Nellis AFB, only 2 miles
or so. We also have a car club with a very casual group that meets almost
every Sat. Night for cruising, chat, or just hanging out with members who
drive VWs and Audis. Email me when you get to town ACADELHOCH@lvcm.com
And BTW Vegas has great cable modem service options..512k up to 2MB
bandwidth...way fast!
