When they (Practical Classics) have decided on the subject for a restoration
project they always pick the worst example of that vehicle that they can
find so that they can demonstrate the whole range of repairs that could face
a restorer.
The restoration that they are currently serialising in the magazine is a
Jaguar XJ6. The basket-case car had a pair of good wings included in the
deal when they bought it, but in this months article they mentioned finding
a wing in really poor condition so that they repair it for the feature....
