Yes, it was extensively discussed and the Audi URL was posted.  It's
not an Audi-specific problem - Audi just happen to be the first company
to admit it.  I know problems have been reported on some Fords, and I
suspect anyone using the same caliper/pad combination (about 90% of
medium-sized cars, at a guess) will have the same problem.

FWIW Audi is co-operating with the ADAC (the major German auto club)
on this.
