RE: outclassed on the commericals
well if audi made a commercial like the new Jetta one it would really be
cool! Not the exact same type ofcommercial but something that really catches
your attention. I have also seen the 3-series on and personally that has
made me start to like them(note-to-self: hit hard object on head). Although
I had to watch the Jetta commercial twice before figuring out everything was
in sync with the music it really made me want a Jetta. The A4 "Unfair
Advantage" one was nice for the first couple times but now its really boring
and I find my self turning off the TV when I see it...

Subject: outclassed on the commericals
Anyone noticed that Audi is being seriously outclassed on TV?
I caught myself drooling after watching one of the "love triangle"
3-series commercials, and the MB commercials are damn good too,
especially the brand new S-class commercial(though the car has kinda
funky, too liberal a styling, for the people in the market for the S
class cars, I think, but oh well.)
Meanwhile, the "zero to your heart" commercial just makes me want to
heave(it was cute once.) Audi has tried to bring back the "unfair
advantage" commercial; it just isn't cutting the cheese vs. the
3-series commercials, which feature really snazzy(and damn near
-perfect-) cinematography, snazzy music, etc. Something about the
view from a lead car, showing the front of the Beemer...blurry
pictures from a racetrack don't work for me(the one exception to this
is when the a4 comes flying out of a curve slipping almost sideways;
THAT got my attention :)
Does Audi use the same agency that VW has been here in the
northeast/north america? They've been making some kickass
commercials too. BTW, that Jetta "sync" commercial's music was done
by a local guy here in the Boston area...it's literally launched his
career into outer space...
