Mis-behaving 4kq: HELP

Patient: 87 4kq...
Problem:
Went to go start her up this afternoon after no drive in 3 days.  Hop in,
turn key, everything fine -- wait a minute.  Sounds like she's missing...
let it warm a tad then pull down the drive.

It feels like the car is missing on one of the cylinders.  Very shuddery
under acceleration and idle is quite lumpy.  It's _kind_ of like when I
took out the ECU fuse about 1.5 years ago thinking it was a "spare".  But
this time, she starts and idles pretty well, but just doesn't want to go
anywhere quick.

Was running beautifully on Thursday.  Parked outside so I checked for
signs of critter-habitation.  Can't say that there are any, 'cept some
tree seeds near the spark plug boot ends.  Nothing I can see chewed up or
eaten.

Checked fuses and searched for an offending connector, but to no avail.
Vaccuum hoses seem okay as the shift light still comes on like usual.

Any ideas?  What to check next?  She must miss my wrench...
