Hey, watch it.  We 89-91 100 owners always wave.  I find many, but not
all, 1996 or later owners are the "snubbers".

Re: clueless A4 owners.  Several months ago, a new A4 (2.8q) parked
behind my 100 - we were both getting the Sunday papers.  So I'm opening
my door, he's at his car and clearly able to see the 100's truck badges:
Me: Beautiful car, did you get a manual or auto? (windows were tinted
    too dark to see in).
A4 owner: It's got the "Tipmatic". . . picked it 2 months ago.
Me: Oooh, the "Tipmatic" (Putz alert triggered in brain housing group).
A4 owner: Yeah, real nice. . . Do you own an Audi?
Me: No, I don't own an A4. (wondering if my smirk is evident)
A4 owner:  How did you know it was an A4?
Me: The emblem. (Now, I can feel the smirk growing).
A4 owner:  It's got '4 wheel drive'. . .
Me: No, really? (I gotta' get out of here)
A4 owner: Yeah, it's a real nice 'toy'.
Me: Well, enjoy it. (Toy indeed, what an . . .)
