My wife's new 200q 20vt

 Okay, finally a moment between a root canal, a flat tire, tree wax and the
exciting Sunday we had. First off, it was great to see Mike V. and Howard.
Mike, your racing pictures are incredible. Howard came to pick up Bob from
CPA cars who delivered Carol's new '91 200q. Mike came by just because he's
an Audi guy like the rest of us. It is glacier blue like Arun's with a dark
blue interior. It has 82k miles and generally beautiful. As I only had a few
hours to look the car over, I suspect there will be "used" car issues to
deal with.
 I missed the best part of this deal which was my wife's face when she first
got a look at. I was ina bathrobe so I opted to get dressed. I did hear her
though; screams and giggles and other kinds of sounds girls make when
excited. Bob was quoted as saying to someone on his cellphone "I've got to
go, there's an interesting developement here". I asumed this to be in
reaction to seeing my wife running out the door to see her new "baby". Those
of you who haven't seen her should and if you're at MH99 you'll see lots of
her. Hopefully modeling a west coast chapter tee shirt.
 So far the only things I've found needing my attention are the driver's
side seat heater. That nearly cost Bob the sale. Believe it or not that was
like number 1 on the list of things my wife wanted in a new car. Then the
tire went flat yesterday when I was on the virge of actually getting to take
an extend drive in the thing. Finally today after washing sap off my 90q20v
and getting a cap on my tooth I got to drive it for a while. Man what a car!
It is beautiful, smooth, powerful, elegant and so European looking. I'd have
to say the car is a perfect fit for my wife. They look great together and
she finally has her own quattro.
 Okay, all that said it should be interesting to note what issues come up
over the next couple months as we find the things that need to be fixed.
 Thanks all for the help, suggestions and offers in our pursuit of a clean
'91 200q 20vt for my wife. Our anniversary is next week. I guess I've got my
bases covered. Now for that garage ....
