long crank time 89 200
Todd,
I had the same problem with my 89 200 just a couple of months ago. The
problem for me was leaking injectors and after replacement of the injectors
problem is gone. How I determined it was injector leakdown was if I shut
the car off and tryed to start it right away it would start. If I waited a
few minutes it would have to crank quite a while. After the system could
clear the rich mixture, flooding, it would start. If the car sat for about
a week without running it would start right away. In the weeks time any
fuel leakage would evaporate and no longer impact the engine as a rich
mixture. For $200 dollars I'm saving a starter.
