Re: Optima battery in an S6?

I have been using an Optima battery in my 87 5KTQ for 3 years, just had to
replace it because it was not holding a charge. Guy at the store said it was
the first one that they ever had returned. Was given a brand new one with an
even better warranty. (Optima is now owned by Interstate) I have 7 friends
that use them(that I can think of 3 of which are in typ44 cars) none have
had a problem but me. I do have the battery on it's side as the seat will
not fit any other way, never had a problem, but I do have the terminals
covered just in case something crazy happens. Over all I am very happy with
the battery and it has an excellent warranty. It did replace a Die Hard, the
old kind (non sealed) which I used about 5 years and is still being used as
far as I know.
