It's more likely to be the cam cover gasket, since that is above the
intake manifold, and prone to leakage if it is the old cork type. You
*could* try retorquing the nuts, but don't overdo it (that can make
leaks, too). It's pretty easy to change, or should be.

I got a one piece for my 82 coupe from a local auto parts distributor
(on the second try, though). Shouldn;t be too tough to get. Ditto the
two piece ones...
who told you they were hard to find?
