STT in European Car

Howdy Audi Fans,

The following was in this month's european car magazine.  "According to
inside souirces Audi is currently developing a "supersport" version of its
TT coupe.  Expected to be badged the STT the hot-looking coupe will come
with slight exterior modifications including lowered body, new front bumpers
with larger air intakes and an automaticly appearing rear spoiler.  Power is
likely to come from a newly developed 3 liter V6 pushing out more htan 230
hp.  The new STT is precicted to make its debut at the 1999 Frankfurt Motor
Show this fall."

two questions,  First how can it be lowered when audi already had to throw
out many springs to get the tolerences needed to avoid rubbing?   And second
won't the engine have to make wll over 5 H.P. more than the TT to make it
worth the extra weight of a V6?
