Re: Help! Electric problem... Voltage Stablizer??
In the 84 4000 I had I belive it was a generic 3 terminal 5 volt
regulator. I think the one I had carried a 7905 part number. It is
on the instrumnent panel circuit board. This part should be able to
take a lot of abuse. It should be easy to test and replace if
neccessary.
I don't think it would affect the turn signals or tach. I'd look for
a crack or a broken trace on the board. Check the ground and 12V on
the board also.
