How do you attach 5k interior parts???

This ones out of my knowledge base,
	A friend with a 5ktq recently had the passenger front arm rest
fall off.  Now it wont go back one.  Three different glues, some sort of
tape and still nothing.  Any suggestions?  I dont know exactly what he's
used but he is almost out of options.  Supposedly even Duct Tape wont
stick to it.
