Fixed sticky Clutch (I promised an update)

Heya guys,
Me again. I promised I'd write an update when I fixed my problem
so here it is.
Problem: Brand New clutch would not fully disengage at times.
Made for hard shifts (esp when cold) and a crawling effect in gear at a
stop light ( clutch rubbing, not good for new clutch plate either :-)
Problem seemed to get better as car warmed up, clutch moved a bit, etc.
Problem got worse, did it all the time.
	i ground car.

Solution: New Slave. Luckily when I did the clutch I pulled
slave and coated with anti-sieze (it was really stuck in there) I should
of just replaced it at the time but I was cheap and figured I could do it
later. So, 1,000 miles later, I'm getting greasy again replacing it. Got
the Slave from Rod at Parts Connection for $42 shipped 2nd day air to my
house. Boy, and Blau wanted $58 for the same part. NOT shipped. I like
Blau but lately I've been LOVING The Parts Connection. :-)
Anyhow, old slave popped right out after tapping retaining pin out
with a proper sized drift thingy. Took me 10 minutes to find where it
popped to. :-) Then I unscrewed hose 80%. Then I coated new slave with
Anti Sieze. Swapped hose from old to new to minimize fluid loss.
Tightened hose. Put slave in. Popped back out. Hmmm, So I put it in,
put drift in from one side to hold it in place. Then I start retaining
pin with a small hammer, once started it moves drift out of the way on its
own. 1/2 way through I remove drift, finish tapping in pin.
Now, Pressure Bleed clutch. I used the Bicycle Inner Tube trick I
read on This list. Worked great. Tighten bleeder. Try clutch. Smooth
as a Baby's butt. Yay, problem solved.
Only complaint with entire setup. Clutch engages RIGHT off the
floor. Like less than an inch from the floor it starts engaging. Very
smooth engaging. IS this normal. I suspect it is and that I'm just used
to the old clutch that was out of room to self adjust and thus engaged
further out. Seems like it works fine, I just want to know if anyone else
had done a clutch swap (with slave swap preferably) and noticed a similar
problem.
Anyhow, I couldn't of dont the whole thing without the list. Or
at least it would of been MUCH more difficult. THanks everyone.
