there are a few things you can't test by looking... for instance to
check the ball joints, raise the wheel an inch or two off the ground and
insert a pry bar under the tire and lift to check for play.
And don't assume you can tell which corner the vibration is coming from,
if it's even suspension related.
try to test and tell us if it's the brakes that stop the shakes or just
slowing down. Easy enough to test, although I don't think you should
drive the car 80 any more until you find the problem and fix it...
that's awful fast to be trying to identify a "violent" shaking. If
something lets go you'll really trash the car and your handling is bound
to be affected (in case you have to react to something quickly).
