Just for comparison, my wife's '84 4k LTD 90hp 4 cyl could get 38 MPG on
the freeway. Typically got less, but always in the 30 mpg plus range.
Maybe we should have kept it. The QLCC powered '88 5kcstq normally gets
18 mpg and needs premium. Oddly, when I drove it back from Virginia
city, I drove it very hard (85+ mph when possible) and it got 24 mpg.
