Audi says cracks are not necessarily a problem, even if they go one
or two turns into a plug hole.  And this is in the MB _turbo_ manuals.

I'll try and find time to dig out the precise wording.

ISTR you mentioning the Midlands?  Sanburn in Coventry are pretty good
if you turn up in person, but very slap-dash on the phone or fax.
