ur-Q Oxygen Sensor Replacement
I bet everyone's out having fun, and I won't get as quick an answer
to this question as I'd like, but here goes anyway.
I just broke a 3/8ths universal joint trying to remove the oxygen
sensor. I started looking at te situation, and it seems like maybe
I should remove the air filter housing so I can get on the socket
without a universal. I recall everyone talking about removing the
right-side headlight bucket to gain access. I started doing that,
then saw that access to the two lower headlight assembly retaining
screws is blocked by the Brobdignagian bumper cover. And I recall
others mentioning what a b*tch it is to remove that bumper cover.
So for now, I'm heading to Sears, certain I won't complete this
before the testing center closes today. Any pointers, BTDTs on
removing and replacing the sensor would be appreciated, but I'd
also like to know how you other urqers are getting that headlight
out.
