Re: wagons, wagons, wagons... :-)

What's top dollar ? what color inside/outside.... UFO's ?

Things to look for on the 91:

Body wise,

Check for obvious paint flaws on the corners of the doors,
and hood, check for overspray on any black surface meeting with paint.

Look for any bumps in the paint, under no circumstances will there be
a bump on an exterior surface. look/feel the recess under the door handles.

Make sure all seems are uniform. Check ther gap between doors on the driver
side then go to passenger side, they should be the same.

Open the hood, look at the bolts on the tops of the fenders, there should be
no movement of the washers on the fender or paint missing from the bolts.

Make sure the tailgate lines up ok.

Check the rear fixed glass moldings, these tend to wrinkle over time,
cost about $120.- in pieces to replace.

Interior:

Try all the windows from all the switches.

Try all doodads inside :-)

Take a good look at the rear interior door panels, check to see if the
top seem is pulling loose from the chrome that lines the bottom of the
window and door panel.

Guages:

Keep an eye on the water temp guage, if it falls back to cold while driving,
Multi-Function switch, approx $50.-

Oil pressure:

2 bar at idle, 5 bar or within an 1/8 inch of it when under acceleration.

Oil Temp:

between 110-120 when warm.

Engine/Electrics:

If possible bring a multimeter and check voltage at the jumpstart post
then compare at the battery. they should be almost identical. approx
13.7 volts +/- .1

Check the underside of the michelin hose just to the left front of the engine,
it should be dry and no cracks.

obviously check all the hydraulics for leaking pentosin :-) steering rack,
reservoir and pump.

There's more but I have to go to class....

maybe somebody else can fill in the blanks... :-)

Good Luck,

Mike L.
