Doug-

	I don't know whether E-ZPass (automated, R/F-based vehicle identification
& toll collection system) is in your area, but I was just filling out my
application and noticed that the A6 w/optional feature "Heated" (sic) and
all A8s require an external, tag mounted ID rather than the standard
windshield mount. The form says that the metal in the glass prevents the
windshield tag from being read properly.

	If nothing else, this tends to confirm that cellular phones will have
problems if used without an external antenna in cars with the warm weather
package.
