EKTA display setup- was: calling Dave Hord - CD question
Dylan-
The problem is not the size of your monitor, but the resolution you're
running it at. The EKTA program requires 1280 X 1024 resolution. Solution
(assuming Win95/98):
1) Go to Start->Settings->Control Panel. This should open a Control Panel
window,
with Accessibility options, etc., etc..
2) Find and double-click on the Display icon to open the Display control
panel.
3) In the Display panel, go to the settings tab (should be the tab that's
furthest to the right). There's a slider that sets the resolution that the
graphics card is using to drive your monitor.
4) Slide the setting to 1280 X 1024, and see if the graphics display
properly. If they do, accept the change to your settings and retry EKTA. If
not, go shopping for a better graphics card and/or more VRAM.
