RE: Clicking seat heater controllers

AFAIK its the nature of the beast. Perhaps you can find the thing and apply
some sort of sound insulation. The relay is switching current on and off to
the heating element. While I've heard it on all my cars with bun warmers
and had to think about what the source of the noise was the first time, it
hasn't been obtrusive on any of the cars I have.

If the relay is clicking more than you might expect it to (I don't know how
you would determine this!) it may be that the wiring to the seat temperature
sensor has an intermittent ...

To date the seat heaters I've used behave as I would expect ... when you
turn on the heater or adjust the temp you don't hear anything clicking, but
once the seat has warmed up you will hear it clicking on and off.
