Codes for 3A engine

Dear Qlist,

I've just acquired an '89 2.0l Audi 80 5 speed for my
daughter. Now I need to fix a few things. It is difficult
to start, then idles at 2000 rpm, slowly dropping to
about 1200 as it warms up. Even then it stumbles and
hesitates.

Any suggestions?

Also, where can I get flash codes for the 3A engine?

P.S. Given the eclectic membership of this list, some of
you may be interested to know that for the first time in
50 years a platypus has been bred in captivity. In fact
a platypus at Healsville Sanctuary - some 70km NE of Melbourne -
has produced twins. (Being territorial males, they need to
be separated, or they'll fight to the death.)
