Aftermarket wheels for the Type 44's are not exactly plentiful.
If you are looking for an easy fit, I recomend you use a 16x7 with
an ET of 40-45 and 205/55-16 tires (note, if your car is lowered, 40
might be cutting it close).
If you are more willing to experiment, I would use 225/50-16's on a
16x7.5 wheel. This could require some fender flaring in the rear and
spacers in the front, depending on the individual car, offset, and
tires.
For wheels, the Tire Rack has (mostly) wised up and show a couple of
wheels with that will fit on their site. I believe the ATP A5 is ET 35,
so I'd avoid that one. Probably a better source is the lists own John
Karasaki (johkar@teleport.com) who is also a Team Dynamics dealer. He
can get you a fair price on wheels with the (rare) ET45 offset.
