	As I mentioned in the previous post, my son's '88 had been to a 
butcher for a fuel pump replacement. His had gotten quite noisy. I found two 
problems. First, the screen was stopped up with the plastic residue from the 
fuel tank liner. Cleaned that off. Second, due to the bad install it seemed 
to be vibrating against the fuel tank.
	It might well be worth the effort to run the tank towards empty, pop 
the fuel tank hatch and take a peek. You might be able to clean the screen 
and eliminate a bunch of noise.
