AFAIK threre's no general Audi FAQ. If you are interested about learning
more about your 200 though, then I've put a faq for 100/200/5000 models,
point your browser to http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Garage/9715/faq.html
UFO is a nickname for the internal caliper brakes used on 20V 200Q, V8 and
European S4. The rotors on those cars look like an UFO :-)
S-cars are high performance versions of "ordinary" Audis.
S2 is based on 80/90 platform (20V 220hp or 230hp I5 turbo engine - not
available in USA)
S3 is based on the new A3 (20V 225hp I4 turbo engine - also not available
in USA)
"old" S4 is based on the 91-95 100 (20V 230hp turbo I5 engine)
"new" S4 is based on the A4 (270hp V6 biturbo engine)
S6 is basically same car as the old S4. In Europe it is available with
280hp or 300hp V8 as well. The name changed when the 100 was renamed A6.
S8 is based on the A8. 340hp V8, 360hp on latest models. Not available in USA.
We are currently waiting for the new S6 based on the current A6. Rumours
are that it is going to have V8 biturbo engine with more than 400hp!
All S-cars are quattros, BTW.
Feel free to e-mail me privately if you have more questions (unless the
answers are in my FAQ, that is ;-) )
