90 nose dive/springs

Yes, springs certainly are a factor as far as the diving nose goes. Their
condition is hard to evaluate though, the car doesn't look saggy etc and
as far as I understand, springs aren't really a normal wear item ( or are
they? please correct me if I am wrong and they need to be replaced every
say 100K miles or so...)
How does your 90 behave under braking? As I remember, you are well below
100K mark so it should reflect pretty well the "intended" behavior of a new
car. Maybe what I am trying to get out of my suspension is impossible with
the stock springs.
BTW, the 1988 ASE audi 80/90 brosure which describes the differences
between the new (then) 80/90 model and 4K says they fitted firmer springs
on the 80/90 line.
