American Le Mans in California

The American Le Mans races will hit California twice this year:

Jul 23-25	Sears Point	"American Le Mans series"
Oct 8-10	Laguna Seca	"VISA Sports Car Championship,
featuring the American Le Mans series"

I would like to attend at least one of these. Laguna Seca has a
sample schedule on their web site, and it looks like what it was last
year; namely, the WSC open-top cars on Saturday, and the GT1/GT2
cars on Sunday. I hope they change it, because I really don't like
that arrangement. If I go it would only be Sunday, so I would miss
the WSC event. BTW, I thought the "American Le Mans" races were
supposed to include GT1/GT2/WSC cars on the track all at once?
Also, I thought ALM was supposed to be an endurance race, so why
is Laguna Seca's event only 3 hours? What gives here? Last year's
event wasn't called "American Le Mans". It was just "FIA GT" and
"WSC"... So is Laguna Seca playing with words on the name of the
event this year to attract more attendance?

Does anyone know what the schedule would be like at Sears Point?
Their web site currently shows no such info.

I guess the pertinent question would be: Which days and events would
Audi be racing in? Would they run the R8R? R8C? or both?

Anyone with some insight please share the info. I'd like to make
some plans.
