OVERSIZE PISTONS, NEEDED, WHERE DO I FIND ?

I have been informed that my 89 200T 10V motor needs to be rebored and
oversize pistons
fitted. The insides of the sleeves have scratches on them and I am being
told that to restore
the engine, the above needs to be done.
The car has done 250 000 km (+- 150 000 miles)
The rings have sharp edges etc.

Is it worthwhile doing the engine rebuild or should I look at another
engine? This I suppose is an even greater gamble.

IF I NEED TO DO THE ENGINE,
I need 5 pistons with  80.975mm diameter and rings to match? Is this the
correct size?
The agents want almost $200 per piston. This sounds crazy to me?

Can you please advise me where I can get good parts for a more
reasonable price? Does Blau do them? or someone else in the USA or
Europe, Germany ?

I am restoring the motor as far as I can.

Any help or advice will be appreciated, as my knowledge on this kind of
operation is exteremely limited.
