There is a slight mis-match on one of the coolant passages using the Ur-Q 
head gasket (but I don't think this is much of a problem) and I must admit to 
not having looked at the fit around the bores too carefully.   When I get the 
head back, I'll double-check this...

BTW, judging from the correspondence I've received today, I think people are 
misunderstanding my intentions here ... I'm only trying to get my Ur-Q back 
on the road as cheaply as possible while I finish building the 2.5L motor for 
it.  Since I've got a lot of parts lying around, I figured I'd try to 
scrounge something together as quickly and cheaply as possible ... this was 
*not* originally intended to be a performance upgrade but a band-aid to get 
the car back on the road so I can get by for another six months or so without 
buying another car.  That said, with some planning and a bit of luck, it may 
yet turn out to be a performance upgrade ... we'll see.
