Couple of S4 questions

Hello everyone,

I recently purchased a '94 S4 with 50K miles on it and need some help
before I get  the Bentley manual.

The rear brake pads are getting thin. I have used Metal Masters in the
past, but remember several olders threads (but couldn't find them) about
their performance not being great. Any thoughts on pads for this car?

What are the safe spots for jack stands (front and rear) under this car?

Anything I should be aware of on doing these brakes myself? I've done VW
and Audi brakes before, and these look similar to those. These are
Girling calipers.

Thanks in advance for the hundred questions I'll have as I start paying
homage to the Audi gods on another car!
