[q];-)

Looks like the [V8] folk have it together.
As do the [syncronized] folk if the tag shows above.

I do have a preference for the tag, but agree that shorter is better,
i.e. [q]. I understand that many of you use filters to tag each
incoming mail, but many of us do not have that capability or, more
likely, the knowledge to create this. Were the group to continue with
tags such as [q] it should be possible for those with filters to simply
remove their internal tag if so desired.

In theory I would love to be subscribed to every group VIA the mother
list... [q], [V8], [s], [20v], [syn], etc...allowing me to check in on
some threads, but axe the majority. Those of you on the "sub" groups
tend to enjoy much more detailed discussions in my experience and i feel
that there are definitely people on the main list that are (a) missing
out on this info and (b) unable to contribute to the good of the sub
groups' discussions.

I'm on the [q] digest now because I have mail coming in from
[20v],[syncronized], [s-cars] and it became difficult or impossible to
follow sub-group threads. I would tend to delete more than I wanted to,
missing interesting threads and reading less interesting ones ala
"bimmers are weak."

The other advantage would be NOT receiving three separate identical
emails to every list. If they were tagged and sent to the same mother
server it would cut down immensly on duplications...
