A month ago I too saw the Accord and A4 side by side at a restaurant.
Amazing similarity--within inches in almost every respect, right down to the
bonnet line.  Why is it then that the A4 design works so well while the
Honda looks somewhat gawky?

| hate to say it, audi copied( or at least the basics for styling) the 94
and
| newer accords.  I was walking out to the car today an noticed how the
lines
| of and accord traced the look of my A4.  And then I rembered the accord
| preceded the A4 by a couple of years.
