Just like everybody else said. I think the easiest is to snip off the whole
connector, strip the wires back a quarter inch, twist them together and
crimp one end of an insulated butt splice over it. Probably "blue" size.
Finish it off with a couple squirts of anti-corrosion stuff such as you
might apply to battery connections.
