'92 100S - Washer Reservoir replacement

As I was driving to work today, I found out via the dashboard warning light that I had no winshield washer fluid. I immediately knew there was a problem, since last night I filled the d*mn thing.

I poured some water into it tonight when I got home, and sure enough, I must have a crack in the bottom of it, since the water just p*ssed right out of it slowly. Bummer.

Has anyone replaced their washer bottle (in a '92 or newer 100/A6)? If so, how much did you pay for the part? Did you get it new or used? Was it easy to install? I looked at it closely, and it there appears to be only three nuts holding it in place. Then of course, there are all the connections to deal with, but that's fairly easy (I say so now... who knows what will happen when I take it apart...) to deal with. But how do you take off the factory clamps? They are not the typical screw type... they are crimped together. Is there a special tool to take them off with? I know that I can just install "normal" screw types afterward, but any BTDT on removing this type of clamp (without trashing the pertinent hose)?

I also noticed that the feed line to the washer jets was also split. Rather than put all new tubing, I'll just get a splice connector I suppose.

Funny how things start to happen once the car is in it's last stages of being paid off. My last payment is next month. Is it payback time to the Audi gods... for the car being so reliable and wonderful for the past four years, after accumulating 156k miles? Have they finally found me? :-(

Please CC: me on any responses... I'm not currently on the list... just lurking the archives more or less each day.

Thanks.
