back on the road (in a quattro(ish) too)

Well I didn't think it would be so quick after writing mine off but...

My Dad broke his leg a week ago and since he won't be able to drive for 12
weeks he is lending me his Land Rover Freelander. I think he must have taken
a hit on the head as well as breaking his leg! I did tell him how I wrote mine
off but for some reason he's still lending me his.

I would report on how well the diffs distribute torque (I think the system is
similar to the one in the TT) depending on which wheels are 'gripping' but if I 
get one scratch on this car, or even wear the tyres with intent then I'll be in 
Trouble.

P.S. His leg is plastered to mid thigh after damaging it in three places,
one crack in the ankle, a spiral fracture of his lower leg and a compound one 
just below the knee, we're not having much luck in our family at the moment, the
cat is recovering from an abcess as well!
