Head lights?  Don't you have euros and a wiring harness?  I thought that 
meant you defeated the autocheck function for checking headlights.

Sounds like you either didn't connect everything right, or have a ground 
problem.  Try resoldering the solder joints... and that's just a guess, sorry 
that I'm no help here.
