After putting those rotors on and making my way back to VT I managed to
hit something on the highway.  The object was rather large and nearly
flipped me and the car over.  Yet my mechanic saw no bent suspension
components, bushings are good, wheel is mildly out of true, and the tire
survived perfectly.  The movement we saw in the front struts is normal
and the strut bearings are just fine, just a 60 dollar alignment for all
four wheels.  Could have been much worse on my wallet or me.  Whew!

Thanks again for my first real mechanical experience!  Hope to learn
more.
