In addition to other suggestions on this topic, failure of the drain hose to
drain will lead to water from ac condensation in the plenum.  This water
becomes foul.  The solution is to first clear the hose.  If the smell
remains, as mine did, you may have to do what I did.  Remove lower panel and
glove box, remove screws on right side of dash, pry out dash slightly, pry
out fan.  (Like the Bentley, some steps are skipped here.)  Now spray
Chlorox solution onto ac heat exchanger and plenum floor, and flush out via
the now open hose with water.  Reassembly is the reverse of removal.
