I just used a borrowed 2' Scrap-Iron torque wrench, dialed it up to the 
proper, albeit huge torque setting, then put most of my body mass onto
the end.  Click!  Done.  Makes me wonder if auto shops also use Wile
E. Coyote's ACME brand tools and techniques to do the same.
