RE: Eurolights: brighter when running from alternator? help
Speaking of euro-lights:
I tried some 100W H1 bulbs for my driving lights in my 4000's H1/H4 euro's
and thought that it was worse than the regular 55W bulbs. For some reason
the lights didn't seem as focused with the 100W's. Anybody else have
similar experience? Needless to say I'm keeping the 55W's in there.
However, the 55/100W H4 bulbs that I robbed from my 944 do quite nicely for
the brights.

Subject: Re: Eurolights: brighter when running from alternator? help
Question for you (all with Eurolights)
Now that these are hooked up-- and not through the alternator-- how do I
switch them to run off the alternator?
I have three options now -- low beams (which seem very low), high beams
(which are extremely impressive!), and the 'city lights' mode
(looks like I
have a dead battery).
Why do the low beams seem 'not as bright as I thought?'
Is it easy to switch the wires for the jump-start battery thingy to the
alternator?
You elaborate input is greatly appreciated!
Richard
