strong rumours around the san marino grand prix have it that arrows is going
to announce a partnership with lamborghini for the supply of formula 1
engines.  as you may know, lamborghini has done this in the past with a
range of teams (lola, lotus, ligier, minardi and finally modena).

if this actually happens, it looks as thought audi has committed to go head
to head with m-b and bmw in the white-hot arena of f1 engine supply.  and to
use lamborhgini gives them a "straw man" if it all turns to custard...

confirmation will be made from the san marino grand prix by the arrows grand
prix team (uncle tom walkinshaw) overnight.
