Re: Coupe GT Springs

time down here on boy-racer Japanese cars. They hit a bump, the car
"pogos" all over the road. Or digs into the tarmac. Buy aftermarket
lowered springs. H&R's, Eibach, or whatever. Do anyhthing but cut the
 springs!

Problem number one:
There are no longer any aftermarket springs made for the coupe GT.
Problem number two:
I'd really have to disagree with your cut spring ideas. First, I had my GT
lowered in such fashion - about one inch, and it improved the handeling
without ill effects. I also did this on my GTi, with the same sucess.
Downside? When you jack the car up in the rear, the springs fall from their
perches.
