Re: Coupe GT Springs



Hmm....  I, too, owned a CGT.  I wanted to lower it, but found my spring
selection limited.  I did see, however, that Blau was selling H&R springs
again, and Jamex is suppose to carry some.  How good they are is up to my
speculation, since my CGT was totalled before I could find out.  I'm only
speaking from empirical knowledge I picked up by watching the racers on
the weekend nights.  They don't call them "slammed" cars for nothing! 
I'm no expert, but aren't the spring-rates set specifically for the car,
and chopping off part of the O.E. spring leave unaccounted for travel in
the suspension, leading to excess stress, tire wear, and bushing damage? 
This is a honest query, not a personal attack!  [8^)
