RE: 90Q lifters, any BTDT?
If it is a 90q with the I5 then it is pretty straight forward. The only PITA
I remember is that you have to unbolt the camshaft pulley to get the cam off
all the way due to the rear timing belt cover. I suppose it might be
possible to "modify" the rear timing belt cover to slip the cam through it.
The only caution I would have is following the Bentley procedures for
loosening and tightening the camshaft cap bolts to minimize risk of bending
the camshaft. Also when tightening the cam back down make sure the
distributor gear is correctly aligned with the teeth of the cam (this is on
a 10v, I am not familiar with the 20v).
