RE: Audi Special Tools

Audi Tools aren't _that_ difficult to acquire in the colonies either ... you
may not like the price you have to pay, but the folks at Carlsen tell me
that they'll order tools for me if I give them the tool number. There are
also companies like Assenmacher Specialty Tools, Zelenda, Hazet, etc who
have some of the VW/Audi Tools. I have found a couple of tool companies who
have web-based business ... http://www.tn-business.com/Samstag/index.htm ,
http://shop.toolsource.com/ , http://www.skywaytools.com/ ... I've even seen
the big code scanner (VW1315 ?) available for sale.

If all that you need are the timing belt tools there are a number of folks
who already have them and you might be able to use theirs. If you live near
San Jose, CA you're more than welcome to borrow mine for a week or two. I
believe my TB tools came from AST.
