Boot replacement, yes.  CV Joint replacement, most likely no.  They don't
squeak, they click, when they go bad.

Get new boots (inner & outer), an extra tube of grease and make sure you
get new clips for the boots.  You also want to REPLACE the Bolt & Washer
Assy. (or Nut if  you have the attached wheel bearing housing style
suspension) that holds the hub onto the axle.  Remember you need to have
the car on the ground to loosen & tighten these (finger tight while in air,
lower and then torque to spec).  Check the other side to make sure you
don't need more.
